Moto g sd slot location

I just purchased a refurbished Motorola Moto G xt1031, 1st geneneration phone. I am in need of assistance in installing the micro sd card. I took the cover off but I don't see a slot anywhere to insert the card.

While inserting the SD card, I missed the slot and the card slipped in where the slot cover fits.
